Blurbal Diorama - Issue #5 - April 2022
Hi {{first_name}}
So, March happened. And a new issue of Blurbal Diorama did not.
For those who don't know, on March 15th I lost my beloved cat Jess after a brief period of illness, and because of her illness and subsequent passing, I took a brief hiatus and the schedule went a bit skewey.
I'm back at it now, and have caught up with the Patreon releases and the main release schedule, and huge thanks to everyone for your patience during a really tough time.
Patrons already know the schedule for April into May and June, but for your eyes only, here's what's coming up on the podcast over the next month and a half (or so):
EPISODE 150!! A Scanner Darkly (this Thursday!)
Jason and the Argonauts (1963)
Superman: The Movie (1978)
Batman (1989)
Blade (1998)
Spider-Man (2002)
X-Men: First Class (2011)
The Suicide Squad (2021)
This is my Heroes Through the Decades miniseries from the 1960s to the 2020s. I get asked to do superhero movies all the time, and I know how much people want the big boys - Superman, Batman and Spider-Man are especially requested. The season starts with an off-the-beaten-track choice, because who doesn't love Greek mythology and Ray Harryhausen ;-)
A new feature to every episode past, present and future is the inclusion of Jess and 6 seconds of her noises at the very end of each episode. Thanks to my host Captivate for making that so very easy to do!
This newsletter, like most things, is dedicated to Jess and her almost 18 years of love, licks, purrs and claw marks. Give your pets a stroke from me.
Em x

FILM STORIES LIVE....
Happened at the end of March! It was amazing, and hopefully I'll have some photos to share soon. Patrons have already been treated to an exclusive recording of the segment.
